What are Middleton ELITE teams in Spring?
ALL NEW for Spring 2024, players in each age division will be given the opportunity to play for a Middleton Elite team. These elite teams will play against some of the best competition in the Treasure Valley. 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 15U.
Middleton will find the best fit for each Elite team, either in the Idaho Club Baseball Spring league, or in the MYB Select League against other Select teams from Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth programs around the valley. These Spring seasons will consist of a regular season that runs from mid-March through Mid-May.
All Middleton players will register through Middleton Baseball Association, regardless if they want to try-out for an Elite Team. Tryouts/assessments will be held the end of February 2023.
Anyone who is not selected for an Elite team will have all the same great options Middleton Baseball has had in previous seasons: Competitive (AAA 12U, and AA 10U), and 12U Majors, 10U Minors, and 13-15 Babe Ruth.
Coaches?
We are currently looking for our Spring Elite coaches. We will be holding interviews in October for these coaching positions.
These coaches will have the opportunity to work with their potential players throughout winter to prepare for the spring tryouts.

Note: If a player wishes to play up and try out for an older team, it needs to be the consensus of the evaluators that said player be in top 5 for that upper team and be able to play a majority of the time.
